- Greet you and welcome you to the clinic
- Make sure you are comfortable, talk about what chiropractic is about and what our clinic’s purpose is.
- Get to know you better, by finding out about your health history.
- Perform a chiropractic examination. This will include orthopedic and neurological screening procedures and digital posture examination to determine if chiropractic care will be of benefit to you.
- We may need x-rays of your spinal to determine the cause and severity of your problems.
- If we have taken any x-rays, we will go over your x-rays in a way that you will be able to understand what the cause of the problem is together with the information from your examination.
- Dr Coom will explain what is happening and what it will take to correct your condition. You may like to bring in your partner with you to this appointment so they can also understand what is going on.
- We will work together to plan your course of adjustments.
- Every adjustment is tailored to each individual.
- We provide free workshops to patients and visitors. These are held on Wednesday nights on a fortnightly basis. These informative workshops are very important for your health during your chiropractic care.
A report of findings is presented to the patient to explain the findings from your history, consultation, and examination. The objective of the report is to answer four basic questions and it is put into two report times. The first two questions make up the first report and the second two questions are the second report. If you have a spouse or partner, they are required to attend this report to understand and support you in this time of healing.
